Huge and lovely audience for an event about the Mitfords at Cheltenham Literary Festival in October, where I was delighted to be part of a panel including Juanita Coulson, literary editor of The Lady, and Ben Treuhaft, the son of Jessica Mitford.
A few days later was at Blenheim Literature Festival talking about Nancy Mitford with Lydia Slater, deputy editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Town and Country – great fun.
Extremely thrilled that my group biography of the Mitford sisters is now out in paperback in the US, and was favourably reviewed in the New York Times’ Paperback Row.
